Everything for practising maths – in one box.
68 types of task, from counting to 20 to fractions – adjust them and print straight away. With answers via QR code and at three levels.
- Free
- No sign-up
- No data stored
- Just launched! If something does not work, get in touch with me.
Has your child brought home a worksheet with a QR code? Scan it with your phone – the answers appear in your language. The worksheet itself stays in German, just like in class.
What the worksheets can do
You can switch everything on in the editor – “Try it” opens a worksheet where it is already switched on.
Answer word
The results give letters. If the word is right, the sums were right – children check their own work.
Try itCheck number for each row
The total of a row’s results is written at the edge. If it does not match, there is a mistake in that row.
Try itAnswers via QR code
At the top of the worksheet: scan it with your phone and see the answers to exactly this worksheet. Try it with the code here.
Try itThree levels, two groups
The same worksheet easier (★) and harder (★★★), plus group A and B with different numbers – so nobody can copy.
Try itLarge print and helpers
Bigger numbers, more space and, if needed, helpers such as a number line or times tables – just for the children who need them.
Try itPoints and self-assessment
For tests: points for each task and, at the end, “How did it go?” with three faces.

Built by a father
I am Daniel and a father myself. I was looking for maths practice sheets for my children that you can adjust and print straight away – and found nothing I really liked. So I built the Rechenkiste: free, without sign-up and without adverts.

Frequently asked questions
Does the Rechenkiste cost anything?
No. All worksheets, templates and answers are free – without sign-up, without adverts and without tracking. If you like, you can support the project voluntarily. Support the Rechenkiste →
May I use the worksheets in class or for tutoring?
Yes. You may use the worksheets you create with the Rechenkiste free of charge in class, for tutoring and at home: print them, copy them and hand them out to children, also as a PDF. You may not sell them or offer them commercially in your own collections. Terms of use in the legal notice (in German) →
Is any data about me or the children stored?
No. The tasks are created directly in your browser. There are no accounts and no database, and nothing is stored on a server. Only if you switch on “Remember on this device” in the editor does your browser keep your latest worksheets – on this device and nowhere else. Privacy policy (in German) →
Do the tasks fit my child’s curriculum?
The types of task follow the topics that are usually taught in each grade. Which topics are taught when, however, differs between federal states, schools and textbooks. It is best to choose the topic your child is doing in class right now and set the number range and level to match. From grade 5 on, the grade is only a guide.
How do I get the answers?
When printing and in the PDF you can add an answer sheet. There can also be a QR code on the worksheet: scan it with your phone and the answers to exactly this worksheet appear – in your language. With an answer word or check numbers, children can also check their own work.
Does it work on phones and tablets too?
Yes. Viewing worksheets, adjusting them and saving them as a PDF also works on phones and tablets. You print via the PDF or directly via the print dialogue. Children can also solve many tasks directly on a tablet: they type in their results and check them themselves – without sign-up, nothing is stored.
Can I put several worksheets together into a booklet?
Yes, with the folder (“Mappe”): several worksheets become a workbook with a cover page, a table of contents and all answers at the end – printed or as one PDF. To the folder →
Is the Rechenkiste available in other languages?
For parents, the start page, the answers behind the QR code and “Solve on a tablet” are also available in English and Turkish. In the editor, teachers can set the language of the answers. The worksheets themselves stay in German: children learn maths at school in German, and the technical terms are part of that.
